New England’s PremierFashion Event

Founded in 2009 by Rosanna M. Ortiz, STYLEWEEK Northeast (SWNE) is New England’s premier fashion week held in Rhode Island. Inspired by the design scene of the world, STYLEWEEK is a professional production of fashion runway shows. It focuses on the business of fashion by promoting art and design and providing an economic impact for our state. SWNE is one of the only regional fashion weeks that have been visited by the CFDA (Councils of Fashion Designers of America) from NYC and has been recognized by heads of state and national publications.

STYLEWEEK has showcased over 273 designers from all over the U.S. and Canada on its runway since its inception in 2010.

STYLEWEEK is dedicated to the growth of the designers as artists and the mission of being recognized as a trade event that can provide an economic spark in Rhode Island.

In addition, STYLEWEEK partners with elementary schools, high schools, and universities to expose young talent through the “SEED Student Design Challenge,” which is dedicated to advancing emerging student designers and their businesses. STYLEWEEK has had participants from FIT, Parsons, Mass Art, RISD, Johnson & Wales, Lincoln School, and SFD Boston.

By incorporating local, national, and international designers, STYLEWEEK provides an experience that is professional and appropriately executed and an avenue for other brands and companies to showcase and promote their products or services.

STYLEWEEK Northeast is not your typical fashion week. SWNE provides branding, public relations, and marketing to all involved in our events.
